Peter and the team felled a large oak in our front garden that was leaning towards the house. Quoted promptly, turned up on time, worked safely and left the site spotless. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Get a Free QuoteStructural tree work
Skilled, BS 3998-compliant work on the structure and form of mature trees — from controlled fellings to selective canopy work.
Controlled removal of trees that are diseased, unsafe, dying or no longer suited to their position. We section-fell where space is tight, work around buildings and services, and leave the site clean.
Selective removal of secondary branches throughout the canopy to increase light penetration and air movement, reducing wind loading without altering the tree's overall shape.
Reducing the height or spread of a crown by pruning back to suitable growth points. Often used to reduce shading, alleviate weight on weak limbs, or bring a tree back into proportion with its setting.
A long-term management technique that removes the upper branches to encourage a dense head of new growth — ideal for species like willow, lime and London plane in confined urban spaces.
Health, safety and shape
Routine and one-off pruning to keep trees healthy, attractive and safe — including hedgework, dead-wood removal and ongoing inspections.
Targeted pruning to remove crossing, rubbing or poorly placed branches, raise the canopy clear of buildings and pathways, and shape young trees as they establish.
Removal of dead, dying or diseased branches from the canopy. Improves the tree's appearance, reduces falling-limb risk and helps prevent decay spreading into healthy wood.
Ongoing care for the trees and hedges across your property — including periodic inspections, hedge cutting, rigging and lowering of large limbs, and dismantling of hazardous specimens.
Stumps, plots and aftermath
The work that happens after — or alongside — tree surgery: grinding out stumps, clearing overgrown plots, and removing all arisings from site.
Mechanical grinding of stumps below ground level so the area can be returfed, replanted or paved over. The remaining root mass is left to decay naturally in situ.
Clearing scrub, overgrown vegetation and accumulated arisings from gardens, plots and development sites. We chip what we can, recycle the rest, and leave a tidy finish.
We work to British Standard BS 3998. Every cut is placed where the tree can compartmentalise it cleanly, so the tree heals well and stays healthy.
NPTC-certified climbers using current rigging and rescue techniques — work-positioning, redirects, controlled lowering — never short cuts.
If a tree doesn’t need the work you think it does, we’ll tell you. If it needs less, we’ll quote less. The tree comes first, every time.
Arisings chipped on site or removed, lawns and beds left as we found them. We don’t consider a job finished until the site is properly cleared.
